Persimmon is the newest member of the family at the Appalachian Bear Rescue is Tennessee.

After being hit by a car in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park the Appalachian Bear Rescue took the cub in to tend to injuries and make sure the cub was safe. She had a swollen elbow and several broken ribs.
